Claudia Förster Ribet
Research Statement
With a background in psychology and cognitive-affective neuroscience, I am particularly interested in understanding the behavioral and neurobiological mechanisms that underpin mental disorders. My research focuses on exploring the interactions between mental health and biological systems, including metabolism, hormones and the immune system. Additionally, I use ecological momentary assessment to investigate everyday fluctuations in emotion regulation, motivation and mood, and their impact on well-being.
