Research Statement

Coming from the field of Psychology as well as Cognitive Science I try to understand how disorders, such as Anorexia Nervosa can be explained, not just in terms of maladaptive behavior and thinking style, but also how those are rooted within biological and neural mechanisms. Within our research group I focus on differences in emotion regulation and it’s neural underpinnings, measured with fMRI as well as ecological momentary assessment.
