Study participation

You are female, 12 to 29 years old and interested in participating in a scientific study? Keep on reading! We investigate the causes and consequences of anorexia nervosa and are currently recruiting:

• Participants who have no mental health issues

• Participants who are currently suffering from anorexia nervosa

• Participants who have suffered in the past from anorexia nervosa but are now recovered

We are interested in structural changes in the brain, the influence of hormones and genes, and psychological processes such as decision making, learning and processing of emotions. We apply a number of methods, including MRI scans, blood sampling, decision tasks (carried out on a computer) and questionnaires. Therefore, participation requires multiple appointments.
