Research Statement

Coming from the field of Psychology and Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience I am primarily interested to help unravel the shape and structure of cognitive processes within the brain. More specific, I am focusing on understanding neural and behavioral mechanisms underlying mental disorders. Currently, I am investigating differences in emotion regulation across the eating disorder spectrum using fMRI and ecological momentary assessment.
