Franziska Ritschel

Research Statement

To improve our understanding of anorexia nervosa and take steps towards improved therapeutic interventions, we need to learn more about the underlying behavioral, neurological and biological mechanisms. Therefore I examine implicit emotion regulation and cognitive flexibility in anorexia using fMRI.
